We originally started our sheet metal shop to fabricate components needed within our custom compression packages. What we realized is that we were only optimizing the equipment about 20% of the time. As the sheet metal shop equipment was expensive to purchase, we realized it would make sense to keep it running for outside work. The equipment is most economically efficient when it’s running, so we decided to take on additional work for companies needing these services.
