AIRnet Air Piping System

Traditional materials for air compressor piping systems have included stainless steel, copper, black iron and galvanized steel. In recent years, the trend has been to design aluminum air line piping systems. Aluminum air piping is easier and less expensive to install, as it does not require threading to join the individual pipes.

Unlike steel piping, aluminum air compressor piping is not susceptible to corrosion. Aluminum typically outperforms copper piping and can prove to be more durable and cost-effective over time than stainless steel piping.

The AIRnet modular air piping system is made from lightweight, powder-coated aluminum tube and designed for easy, low-cost installation with a large selection of engineered polymer fittings. No special tools are required for installation. The smooth, low friction inner surface of the aluminum pipe maintains a minimum pressure drop throughout the air distribution system. This allows compressors to work at lower operating pressures, reducing power consumption and operating costs. The non-corrosive properties of AIRnet maintain a constant air quality from compressor to the point of use.

AIRnet Air Compressor Pipe Features

AIRnet aluminum compressed air pipes are available in 3/4”, 1”, 2”, 21/2”, 3”, 4” and 6” sizes. They include a revolutionary strong-grip internal design that offers superior sealing and optimum grip performance. They’re also equipped with reusable component parts and are watertight at up to four times their working pressure. The corrosion-resistant sheet metal ensures light weight and compact design. The blue powder coating and embossed part numbers enable easy pipe identification.

AIRnet products are thermo tested in accordance with ISO-580: 1973 standards and are designed and built to comply with ASME/CE/PED international standards. They’re also approved for outdoor installation.

AIRnet Compressor Piping Dramatically Reduces Your Installation Time

Lightweight aluminum AIRnet requires only one person to install and can reduce total installation time by as much as 70% in comparison to traditional piping. The piping cuts easily, and the polymer fittings ensure a fast, hassle-free alignment. And unlike most traditional piping systems, no painting or other additional treatment is required. The system is ready for immediate pressurization upon installation, which minimizes unproductive downtime. AIRnet is adaptable to existing piping systems, and future extensions can be added with ease.

AIRnet Compressor Piping Offers Unmatched Reliability

The high-grade aluminum and polymers used to construct an AIRnet pipe for air compressor systems are extremely durable and are suitable for a wide range of compressed air, vacuum and nitrogen gas applications. In addition to being resistant to corrosion, the pipes can withstand mechanical shock, temperature variations and even severe weather conditions. The leak-resistant connections provide superior sealing, and the low friction factor minimizes pressure drop. The 10-year AIRnet warranty covers all pipes and fittings and protects against damage due to material defects, ensuring their reliable performance for many years to come.
